2009 Shortwave in review

Well,as 2009 draws to a close,i thought it would be nice to review what has happened since i first posted these blogs.
There have been severe cutbacks to several countries this past year, most notably,Belgium,Sweden,Hungary, and others. Now it seems that"Chckiya" as GH points out gets a save until Feb,2010.
Also, one US SW station left the air earlier this year.WBOH went dark recently ending broadcasts from this FBN owned outlet

On the testing front,Nashville based WWCR was testing first on 4775,then on 3240,also on 3230 and finally on 4755,of which i got a QSL card for the November 11 test transmission which shows the tube in the final, along with a photo of a Grundig portable YB400PE radio and"SPECIAL TEST" on it.It was verified by Chief Enginneer,Phillip Patton.
